John R Vogt, PhD

Dr. John R. Vogt is a seasoned seminar speaker, teacher, counselor, and coach with a passion for helping people grow in their relationships—with God, at home, and in the workplace. He holds a B.A. in Religious Education from Oklahoma Baptist University and earned both his Master of Religious Education and Doctorate in Religious Philosophy and Pastoral Psychology from Clarion Seminary and School of Ministry. His lifelong area of expertise has been interpersonal relationships and the ways they shape healthy families, effective teams, and thriving organizations.

John devoted more than thirty years to the Federal Aviation Administration, where he not only wrote and taught computer software instruction but also pioneered courses in soft skills development. His teaching focused on helping employees understand themselves and others through personal assessments, group analysis, positive conflict resolution, and customer relationship training. His approach blended technical precision with relational wisdom, leaving a lasting impact on workplace culture.

Alongside his professional career, John and his wife, Kathy, have faithfully led a ministry called Together ForEver for over twenty-five years. Through marriage enrichment seminars, conference speaking, pastoral counseling, and church ministry, they have touched countless lives. Married for more than fifty years, John and Kathy model the joy and resilience of a Christ-centered marriage. They love to share humor and real-life stories of God’s grace in their journey, demonstrating that marriage can endure the hardest seasons and flourish in the best of times.

Together, John and Kathy have served in many facets of church leadership—including youth ministry, associate and senior pastoral roles, and worship leadership. Their heart’s desire is simple yet profound: to help people experience thriving relationships at home, fulfilling connections at work, and an ever-deepening walk with God.

They are proud parents of two children, grandparents to two, and great-grandparents to two more. Family remains at the center of their ministry and message, reinforcing their belief that strong relationships are the foundation of a strong faith and a strong community.
